About OCS

Odessa Christian School is the result of a God-given vision to assist the home and family by providing to students a strong academic education through a Biblical world view. 

We apply the belief that education encompasses not only the traditional subjects of “reading, writing and ‘rithmetic”, but also a focus on the beauty and significance of Creation.   Furthermore, it is our goal to  utilize advanced technology to its fullest in preparing today’s young people for success tomorrow. 

Odessa Christian School seeks to assist parents and families in training up their children in the way they should go.  Our emphasis is on sowing the seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ in each and every student through teaching of the Word, by Christian example, through authentic worship and the utilization of a biblically-based educational focus by teachers and staff who love and revere God.  In addition, Odessa Christian School seeks to encourage learning through classroom instruction as well as through hands-on and experiential learning and exposure to and appreciation of Creation as the work of God’s hands. 

Our Purpose

To give the students of Odessa Christian School the opportunity to gain knowledge and wisdom academically and spiritually, growing “in stature and in favor with the Lord and men” (1 Samuel 2:26).  Also, to equip each student to be able to “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 1:15).

Our Mission

To provide educational excellence in a Christ-centered environment; to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to every student boldly and passionately in order to enable them to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, for “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).
