Odessa Christian High School is a place where students are accepted based on academic, spiritual, and character qualities. Students have excellent opportunities to develop their high school portfolios in preparation for college, career, ministry, and beyond.
While many of our high school students have come up through OCS since their elementary and middle school years, we also embrace students new to OCS at the high school level. As with K-8th grades, we utilize 21st Century approaches along with traditional mBlock scheduling allows for deeper learning and exploration of personal passions within each subject area.
OCS high school students spend their time on the Michigan Avenue as well as Tarpon Springs Road campuses, and have numerous special privileges and opportunities. We capitalize on our small but mighty stature by utilizing the many excellent field learning and service opportunities in our local and expanded community, and students embark on educational travel throughout the school year. Whether applying and extending marine science knowledge while examining keystone species in the Gulf of Mexico, observing and immersing in local cultures, or mentoring and serving younger students, high school students at OCS gain experience in being - and learn more of how to be - the hands and feet of Christ in everyday life, and how to carry that on into their futures.
