High School Studio

Odessa Christian high school students have excellent opportunities to develop their high school portfolios in preparation for college, career, ministry, and beyond. They work hard, AND they have fun! High school students further develop and perfect their research, public speaking, collaboration, presentation, and deep learning skills.

High schoolers have a challenging yet manageable learning and homework schedule to allow for activities and commitments outside of school such as family time, hobbies, sports, jobs, youth group, etc.

High school students typically experience approximately 10 field and/or service learning trips (required as part of our school experience) and 2-3 travel learning experiences (encouraged, but not required).

Whether applying and extending marine science knowledge while examining keystone species in the Gulf of Mexico, observing and immersing in local culture and history, or mentoring and serving younger students, high school students at OCS gain experience in being - and learn more of how to be - the hands and feet of Christ in everyday life, and how to carry that on into their futures.
